Started this one recently. Aoshima Countach 5000QV, being built as a "Cocaine Countach" (white, white interior and white wheels) Beautiful kit to build so far. Have got a few parts done, wheels, lights, etc.
Also finished up the engine compartment, Added A/C Lines, Braided oil line, fuel line and ignition leads.
Thanks for looking, appreciate any comments. Cheers.

Cool project! It's looking great so far. Looking forward to seeing more.
Your thread title caught my eye. Like a lot of kids growing up in the 70's and 80's, I had a poster of a Countach on my bedroom wall.

This is indeed a great project. Having bought an Adventador kit from Aoshima at the Nationals Convention I have an appreciation for these types of kits because there's A LOT in those boxings. Looking forward to more good progress on this one Bruce. This is looking AMAZING so far.

That kit looks sharp! Is Aoshima readily available in the U.S. through anyone (other than Ebay)?
I had a Countach poster on my wall as a kid. Haha.

Excellent work so far. I’ve always loved the Countach. Such a wild car.

Like a lot of kids growing up in the 70's and 80's, I had a poster of a Countach on my bedroom wall. I grew up in the 90s and still had a Countach poster on my wall. Way bigger cool factor than the Diablo. That kit looks sharp! Is Aoshima readily available in the U.S. through anyone (other than Ebay)? I had a Countach poster on my wall as a kid. Haha. Hobbylinc will have Aoshima stuff. And I think hobbynut models as well. Probably others I don’t know about

I think Hobbylink is your best option dupes Good call! I would NOT have thought to look there (and I just got an order from them a couple of months ago). They've got quite a bit!

I ordered an Aoshima initial D kit off there with one of my orders so I knew they had them.

Looking great so far... superb engine work! I built this kit 13 months ago. Had a bugger of a time fitting the body to the chassis. Otherwise it went together well as you mentioned.

Life and time constraints have limited my bench time. Have most exterior parts in primer and interior parts ready to go together. Soon hopefully.

Man do I ever hear you on that bro. We'll be looking forward to seeing this in action when you get back to it Bruce. In the mean time .......we're glad that you're here.
