I remember that one Mike!! Being on the lighter/ comical side of modeling brought back a lot of memories of watching that show growing up as well as an appreciation for the details that you put in to this car. Awesome work throughout bud!

I haven't seen one of these kits before, looks like you nailed it! Your woodgrain work looks wonderful on this

Sweet, what's in the barrels? Fuel or moonshine, or is that the same? The knitted bench cushion is an eyecatcher. Is it also painted?

Looks like it was pulled straight from the intro to the show. Phenomenal work and what a fun subject.

That's just amazing. The weathering and your use of color is spot on. Love the rusty look, wood grains, and even the finish on the moonshine jugs. It's very realistic.

I really like this one. I will be watching for the build of the second kit. I second the comment on the wood grain work it would make many ship and Bi plane builders happy. Thanks for taking the time to share your work.

That is down right outstanding. What a hugely fantastic and realistic build of an iconic TV show auto. Yup, spent plenty of time watching the show when I was but a wee lad. How did you make the folded blanket/seat cushion on the wooden bench? That is superb touch.

Now that's very cool!!
Even in the 80s they'd run repeats on TV here in the UK!
Again, well done.

They sure were the good old days. I purchased a few of those Mexican blankets on ebay years ago. I think they were used for dollhouse building.
