Totally overlooked this one Jean-Marc. This is definitely some good modeling but I have to ask, is this a section of something or a stand alone build?

Way too cool!!! Is it like some kind of giant floating buoy for downed pilots to aboard and to be rescued?

I think that the Time Life Second World War Series book Battle of Britain has a side paragraph on these rescue floats, along with some diagrams and illustrations.

Well, define "preserved" Video I think that the Time Life Second World War Series book Battle of Britain has a side paragraph on these rescue floats, along with some diagrams and illustrations. I had those books and yes there was a brief note about them. More focused on the British version if I recall.
