It is done. Not exactly where I wanted it but my friend has gotten sicker so I finished all but the rigging.

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your friend Paul. Prayers will be lifted for him and his family. You've done this one proud......really proud. I love all of the weathering that you've put into this and is a true testament to your abilities as a ship builder. I've always known you to dabble in this kind of work but dang man........you really know your way around these ship models and how to make 'em look good. Beautiful work Paul.

I wouldn't be here to build it if he didn't save my life in S.E.A. in 1971, Least I can do.

Well, you're both still here today. At least you got this one done to this point for him, and Im sure he will appreciate that.

You're doing some very nice work on BB34! 🙂 She's looking much more realistic now. 👍
I thought y'all might enjoy this little video about her sister-ship, BB35, the USS Texas, currently undergoing restoration work in Galveston. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmdvQl7GKdo

The whole thing is worthy of everyone's admiration from both the quality and reason for the build. Very well done, I know your friend will truly appreciate it very much.

I truly hope your friend makes a turn for the better. You have certainly honored him by doing a remarkable job of weathering the New York. Your efforts are definitely noble in their purpose. Good on ya'. Some positive Karma coming your way.

That is one I did not see. I've been following almost the entire refit/resto right down to the final paint. I also in case you're interested follow the New Jersey videos on Utube by whom I believe is the curator of her.
