That’s the yellow Tamiya mask with the grid on it. Comes in A4 size sheets, 5 to a pkg. great stuff for compound curves. My LHS doesn’t carry it so i buy on amazon.

 I love that stuff. Sheets of it go decently far too. And the grids are handy.

Can you believe I forgot to put the rear bumper on? here it is, just ignore the other pics till I get new ones. Let’s see if this works it’s giving me a headache, ok maybe tomorrow The photo will sync to my iCloud account




I straightened that bumperette on the left of the pic. Close ups are good for lots of things...except my psyche lol









Some of the weak points - I struggled top get the body to close up. The front looked like a gasser until i superglued it down 🤪 luckily i had some dash decals as the kit came with no instrument dials at all. The side view mirrors just don’t look right, next time i will remember to dry fit them before paint as i was too afraid to scratch up that gloss coat now. My interior panels need work, look good from a distance but i think in the future i will mask more of them rather than just the bottom edge, to avoid getting paint in places it shouldn’t be.

Some highs - the stance up front just screams muscle car! I dipped the glass in future and it is crystal clear, love it. I went all-in with the pinstriping and it turned out sweet! I need to try spraying some smoke on the chrome wheels yet. Still time for that but i think it’ll turn out good…yep here it is...

Great work on the stance correction to this car Chris. Those are not easy to get like this I know. The paint......DUDE.....that paint!! You really nailed the whole look and got a good shine on her. Beautiful ride bud. When I get home I'll slide this one into the GB gallery brother and thank you for participating in it. Looking forward to seeing that Muldowney car finished.

Sounds good! The pink one has the big block, think it’s compensating for anything?
