This is off the charts and I'm glad you chose to re-do the hood. I can't say I blame you either as that would've bugged the crap out of me as well. This is such a cleanly detailed and painted build so far. Coming along VERY nicely indeed.

Thanks, All! I appreciate the comments! Finished the right side and the body is complete! I think I'll finish the rest of the hardware and then put the wheels on since it is going well, knock on wood. The top sits on it well with no glue. I might change the color of the top to Ivory since this color looks a bit dark. But I can do that last. Thanks for looking! 😎

Sweet! That looks great with the roof on and the body and fenders mated up. Black and red always works.

Thanks, Kyle! What do you think about the top? Should I change the color? I finished all the hardware on the rear and then I thought I better put the wheels on it or I might knock some of the hardware off trying to wait until the end. So I've installed the wheels now, knocking off the rear bumper in the process but everything is together now. I also installed the right spare tire and cover. Still waiting on the weather to finish the hood but I have plenty of pieces up front to install. Thanks for looking! 😎

JR, I actually like the top in that tan color. I think it goes really well with the red and black. Nice looking work on the additions there too. This one is going to be really sharp when finished.

Just knock the gloss off the top since it would be fabric.

Just knock the gloss off the top since it would be fabric. This is indeed looking good JR. Both of these guys are right on. The color of that top sets a good contrast to the car and since the top is cloth it would have a flat appearance.

Just knock the gloss off the top since it would be fabric. Good call. That is indeed the icing on the cake to make the look of the top

Thanks, All! I add some more dullcote to the top and call it good! Believe it or not I have already dullcoted it once because the Krylon Khaki paint is gloss. Its not made in Satin. Weather broke and I got the hood painted and the grill shell touched up. Tomorrow, I'll rub out the hood and add the the foil on the centerline. I managed to get the headlights with horns, turn signals, wipers, front bumper and left side spare tire installed today. Only door handles, hood emblem and emblets on the sides of the fenders left. The headlights were tough and I don't now how I got those added without getting glue all over the fenders. Almost done! Thanks for looking! 😎

Thanks, All! I appreciate your comments! This one is done! The trim level is what I have seen on all the red ones on the internet so I left the emblets on the front fenders off and only foiled the centerline on the hood. I rubbed out the hood this morning and then added a light coat of paint and clear. I also added another coat of Dullcote to the top and added the door handles and the hood ornament. Thanks for looking! 😎

Stunning JR. This was extremely enjoyable to follow along with. I love the style of these big old cars. This one looks awesome in the colors you've chosen. And the trim work and white walls look awesome together. Just the perfect look.

Glorious!! You did put some light bulbs in there so you can turn on the headlights, didn't you?
