Thanks for the kind words fellas! The easy stuff is done now. This build will start to get interesting in the next installment. Have to fab a cage now, get the engine position nailed down for good. Detail it to the nines (As usual) build a drive shaft, exhaust system. Decide on seats. brake/fuel lines. Chrome trim (will there be any?) bumpers/grill...Yes there will be some mods there I think. Jury is still out on the wheel color, may change that from Cinnamon to something darker...Hmm..

Ok gang, got a little bit done here. Built a cage for this over the course of the week. Hardest part of the build so far... I will get a few of the painted product for ya once I paint it lol...Enjoy! And thanks for tuning in and commenting!!

Got a bit more done today...Painted the cage and floor pan. Will flock the carpet and then decide on the seats and color for them and the door panels. I did a thing with the front bumper/grill. Yeah, stripped the chrome and filled the openings in the bumper. Using the chin Spoiler from the C-1 kit. Had to stretch it in the middle, to fit the kit bumper. Also adding driving lights to the bumper. I cut some aluminum tube to replicate the light housings and fit the holes snugly... That's all for now folks! More to come, stay tuned!!!

This is so dang cool that it's almost a CRIME. This car just looks all kinds of aggressive and has such a clean paint job and scheme to it. You've definitely won me over with this build Pete.

Absolutely super work Pete. Really smart job on that roll cage. Some superb scratch work there. That front spoiler just adds so much more to the Bad A$$ness of your Nova. I am just loving what your selling.

That's a bit of a yard stick for me since I am building this one for the show circuit. Paint like this isn't always a crowd pleaser. "its not all shiny" Or if its not shiny "it needs to be weathered and look like it was at the bottom of a lake for thirty yrs"...LOL

And now for todays update!. Not much to say really. Did have some free time, what with the two snow days this week...Got some of the tedious things out of the way. Inching closer to having a few completed sub assemblies... Had to cut slots in my chosen seats for the shoulder harness straps. Then had to make a pair of six point harnesses. Used some Scalecars 3D harness hardware, This stuff has soo much more depth than PE parts since its all 3 dimensional. I have already ordered two more sets of this stuff to have around... Got some flocking on the carpet too.(That was fun! since I had to build this cage in place) Yeah, interiors' going to be plain old black, yawn... Got a PE Hurst shifter in there too with a scratch built boot and PE Bezel... that's really it for now. Heres a few pics. Last ones show where this build is at for now!

Those harnesses are so dang cool Pete and you're right......ten times better than PE!! I really like how this whole car is coming together. It's almost if the build has a mind of its own.
