Thanks for the kind words everyone! Its much appreciated... Todays installment: Not much really, been busy. But I did get the interior buttoned up. Still have to build a tach for it though... Heres a few pics to tide you over! Next up should be the details for the engine and its installation. From there its a simple matter of bringing it all together...Famous last words right!? LOL

Details indeed. The label on the fire extinguisher is a nice touch, the thing looks real.

We can get you up to speed Marc! Too bad you didn't live in my neck of the woods. A couple fellow modellers and my self have a build day once a month. We all get together...Hmm, I think the next month is at my place?? We each host a saturday once a month...Host buys lunch, we bring projects to work on or things we have an issue with. Be it paint, parts, fab or assembly or what not. Its a good time and everyone learns something if their not careful LOL... Couple guys we know in the model building/show circuit around here have started calling us the MOB. Man, that would be fantastic. What's the farthest east you come for contests? Anything in New England? This looks frickin' killer. Dang.

Everywhere one looks on this build, there's just amazement to be seen. It's pretty tough to get a car to sit right and look the part when it's got a normal stance but when they're set up like this, faults become more glaringly obvious in the correct "look" aspect. This is perfect with the same distance to from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel opening all the way around. The details are right on and very convincing Pete. About the only thing that could be worked on is getting harder edges on the fuel tank retaining straps to match the rest of the utter perfection that's on that chassis. The lines on this car just flow. You're kickin' this build right in the potna.

Stupendous! (Running out of superlatives with youse guys). This is my favorite Nova body style. Wife had one before we got married. I intend to try to build it at some point.

Thanks fellas! Haven't had a lot of bench time lately but, I did get the side pipes fabbed up...Did I mention I was putting side pipes on it??? Yeah Joe...LOL I know... I usually fine line that stuff after all the fab and plumbing are done! Those tank straps are nice and tidy now. Side pipes from some plastic tubing and some honeycomb mesh for ankle burners...Ahem , I mean heat shields. (If you have ever had a car with em...You know) Head pipes from lead solder too. Painted the pipes with Alclad Titanium over flat black and Alclad pale gold for the shields. These wont go on till the chassis and body are married permanently though so only a mock up shot for ya this time. Just couldn't resolve my dislike of the coil packs that came with the engine soo...I did a thing, we shall see if it pans out. If so, engine details are up next. stay tuned folks! More to come...All be it slowly.

This thing just keeps getting better and better Pete. Those side pipes are really going to add a whole new look to this already good looking car. You're knocking this one out of the park brother.

Dang it Pete ( maverick) !!! I think you're throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this thing! All the extras that you've put into this have really added up into a "modern art masterpiece". Side pipes and heat shield add a good touch to the whole car. BTW......where'd you get those tiny holding tweezers at?
