As the title says I doubt I will find some of these but you never know what somebody has in their stash that they would give up for a good cause 58 Ford Custom 300 two door. There was a resin one available once but seems long gone. www.scalemates.com/kits/modelhaus-1958-ford-custom-300--13021321977 Pacer. May be hope that this will be rereleased someday. Maybe try Andys HobbyHeadQuarters, he buys and then resell collections. He YouTubed a video of over 1k cars that haven't been around for years. His frien Luca is a big car guy and perhaps Andy can connect you to him.

His frien Luca is a big car guy and perhaps Andy can connect you to him. Tried several places but they all want big buck retail. Figure I will stumble across most of the production ones someday. Or they will rerelease them. Not in a rush but the more eyes looking the better chance there is. Already have a couple of years worth of builds in the que for the kits I could find.

Okay, so I heard back from our family friend regarding your list. Unfortunately, he did not have a single one... Sorry! He did invite me over to go through his kits though. I will take some pics when I go.

The Gremlin kits were the ones that got re-released but I haven’t seen a Pacer kit in a LONG time. I did a double take on that Fairlane GT kit. I was gonna chime in with the fact that I just got rid of that one but saw that you were looking for the Fairlane GT500 Convertible. I don’t think I’ve EVER seen that. Is there a 3D printed conversion?

Man, I wish I would have known how expensive that Ghia kit would end up being. I had that at my store for years and no one bought it. I would have bought 3 HAHA

I remember a pretty blonde in College that drove a Gumby green Pacer. You could see her a mile away lol. I loved my 71 Dart Swinger with white vinyl top and dark green lower, with two tone green interior. That 318 V8 was very agile. I ripped 3 sets of motor mounts peeling out. 😆

Star Models does a resin '59 Ford 300 in both 2 door and 4 door. Not sure if that is close enough to '58 to work with. Basically promo kit style like older AMT kits, metal axle etc, but the kits I have bought from him are well cast and the prices reasonable for resin. He is a solid seller to work with, very upfront about the quality of a particular kit, and any particular failures of it. I've always found him responsive to emails even when just asking a question about a kit I'm interested in. 1959 Ford Custom 300 2 door

Yeah, I can give you his contact info if you would like. kyledehart5 has actually already bought a few things from him recently. I think the transaction was smooth from what I heard.

Absolutely! Great guy and sent me pictures of several kits I was interested in so I could see the condition of everything. I mailed him a check and he mailed me some very nicely packaged kits. I’d have bought more but I really need to simmer down. 🤦🏻♂️😂

Yeah, I see it now. Kind of like a '55 and '57 Chevy very similar at a quick glance, but lots of differences in the details.

Classic old kits. I use Ebay a lot because I'm comfortable with it. I'd love to find a 1966 Rambler American (the car I started driving with) and a 1974 Pinto (my first car) as well as a 1974 Pinto Hatchback (one that my GF had).

Appreciate the tip but this is where Canada kicks in. With exchange, shipping, taxes and duty (since it comes from Japan) that would end up being an easy $300 kit for me to buy. This is what makes getting some stuff that I want really rough.

Round 2 has been reissuing a lot of the old AMT and MPC kits, Pinto, Gremlin, VW Rabbit and Scirocco, so I imagine it is just a matter of time for the Pacer to turn up.

I saw the price tag and thought oh this is cheaper than the $130 you listed before.
