I saw this pop on on Facebook just a bit earlier. The engineering is certainly unique. If it works it could make for a really outstanding result. I was definitely intrigued.

I've built a few Dragon (Cyber Hobby) kits in 1/32 including the E-3. I can't say enough good things about them. If the 1/48 is anything it's 1/32 scale version is grab it immediately! You won't regret it. Speaking of this reminded me I made a Dragon 109E-7 once upon a time. I'm looking for the pictures.

That one piece fuselage is quite tempting. Nice to see something new come from the folks at Dragon. Years of repops had me wondering what their future looks like. Their previous aircraft have been quite interesting. Particularly the Mistel line.
