Hello everyone, on 14/15.10 I and some modeling colleagues were in Belgium, Bastogne. Our destination was the Bastogne War Museum near Liège. The museum deals with "The Battle of the Bulge." The battle is told from the perspective of four protagonists. As you move through the museum, the four tell their personal stories through the audio guide. The four protagonists include a 13-year-old boy, a young teacher, both from Bastogne, a German lieutenant and an American GI. Unfortunately, photography is only permitted without flash, with modest lighting. If you want, you can watch a short video of me on YouTube. The sound comes through our headphones and therefore cannot be understood. But it's enough to show the atmosphere. The temperature is much cooler, you sit on tree trunks, with vibration and with MG fire. youtu.be/xvMpHSSVG50?si=L5000I-VAOqaAGVwThere are three video presentations in total, including in 3D. the Mardasson monument Info about it here

I saw this earlier this morning before I was good and awake and couldn't believe all of the subjects that they've got at that museum. Man this is a show in itself right here on the forum let alone in real life!!! That must've been quite the experience to get to see that and I'm sure it was a lot to take in. Thank you for sharing all of this with us Roland. This is truly awesome bud.

Wow! Thanks for posting this. Definitely a bucket list museum for me. What was your favorite thing? My favorite? Everything.......The SU 152, it's really big. The oil still runs out of the exhaust. The Scammel is a crazy vehicle. They are restoring the vehicles in the first large halls and there are T34 parts outside. We spoke to one of the employees, they are going to expand this. He also recommended that we come in mid-December, when this event takes place every year. youtu.be/itcRJwj2Ko8?si=hS8tY5BPOVNtjYZeThis is realy crazy……… And another thing, when you drive through the small villages, they still look like they used to. Partly restored, but you always get the feeling that a Tiger I or a Sherman is coming around the corner.

I totally loved that museum and I would love to return to Bastogne one day. The only thing that threw me off was the green color painted on the Hetzer and I thought it was interesting. Thank you so much for sharing the pictures because I didn't see some so I assume they were added since my visit in 2016?
