SWEET! You have my attention. I have heard good things about MiniArt esepcailyl that it can be challenging with so many small pieces but it offers greater details.

Small update, I tried something out. The whole thing is supposed to take place in front of a former barracks or something. Between the concrete slabs and the street panels there is a small fence, wall and the clock on the side. The garbage cans are at the back and there is also a larger concrete wall. So first the rough idea.

That's come on nicely and as Andy says, those tracks look very good indeed.

Chaos - looking fantastic so far. I have two of these in the stash and I know they are PACKED with styrene. Great progress so far. Love the "Monument" plan and looking forward to see some more.

The fenders look great! Nice to see that Miniart included the fuel tank plumbing... unlike Tamiya

The thing almost flew into the wall several times. The fift miserable. Aprons almost didn't fit at all and were also badly warped. Only superglue and sheer force helped here. It's drying now and let's see what can still be saved.

Looks like the monument side should really be stripped of any removable parts (boxes, fuel tanks, etc) and could be a bit more beat up than the in service side. so really you just need to get good fit on the service one.

Hang in there! I struggled with my kit made by Miniart last year so you are not alone. I just gave up and placed mine on the shelf just for now and I'd like to finish it when I have the energy. I really like what tcoat said... naked T-55 would make better sense for monuments.
