These are spectacular models, especially when built this well! Thank you. There were a couple of skill sets learned and polished along the way. When I started the rigging, I could not get the CA glue to take hold on the EZ Line, no matter what I did. It was a couple hours of work on the port wing, and at the end, it wasn’t done. I came back to it a couple of days later. Fresh eyes and cooler mood, and the rest of the rigging went off without a hitch.

Wow, that’s a beautiful old war bird. Excellent craftsmanship! I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing a wnw kit in person.

There tends to be a lot of detail that is very subtle, and it’s not terribly evident until you start to get some colors laid down. Especially with dry brushing.

That's an outstanding build! The rigging job scares me but you made it work. I do have couple of EZ Lines so I will have to give it a try one day. So you had to tie the lines instead of using super glue?

So you had to tie the lines instead of using super glue? Thank you. Planning your rigging will give you success. At first it can seem daunting, but thorough prep will yield excellent results. Visually, rigging is quite stunning. I did end up gluing them. I never figured out what happened that day. CA glue and an applicator for accelerator are a must. At least for myself

That is an absolute masterpiece!! Very well done. Andrew Thank you kindly Andrew. I’ve got their Felixstowe lurking in the stash. No idea where I’ll put it once I build it. First world problems.

Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

Rigging is the bane of my WWI aircraft modeling. I'm so scared to screw that part up, I don't even want to start my kits. Ugh.

Gorgeous work! Simply gorgeous! The Brisfit was a fine looking machine and you have done her justice here.

Manufacturers are much better about including rigging diagrams. Pick one that isn’t so intensive with the rigging.

I admire anyone who can create this beautiful of a build. These kits look crazy hard to me. Thank you. I get that. I used to look at rigged kit and think to myself “no freakin’ way”. Fortunately, WnW kit came along. They are well engineered and the instructions are well laid out. That being said, it often is not a good idea to stray from the instructions. Follow them and the kit will build out nicely.

I saw this thread yesterday while I was at work and couldn't view the pictures and was looking forward to viewing it at home to where I could view them. The wait was definitely worth it as this the detail on display here is off the charts.....crisp photos or NOT. Beautiful work on this one Dave.
