Not really a model show but some pics of where I spent my day today. Thought I'd get it up tonight before I forget. As you know I am on holiday with friends and one of our outings was Battleship Cove in Fall River Ma. USA The cove has quite a few ships. battleship Mass BB59, USS Lionfish (sub), Destroyer Joseph Kennedy, a Russian something boat and two PT boats. On board the Battleship, below decks is a model display room with aircraft, some boats and armor. Some of the models on display I remember from when I was young and spent time on this ship, and many new models have been added. I took a few pics of just a small fraction of what is there. Because of the glare from the lights on the glass cases I was not able to take as many pics as I wanted, but did want to take some for all you MSC members. First some shots of the ships on display. I have a ton of pics of the rust and weathering that will get posted some time but for now just pics of the ships and models. Now a car and plane, then onto the models. This one I thought was great . It's about ten feet long and made out of BRASS. That's about it. Sorry they aren't really in any order and not much for an explanation, like I said, I'm on holiday Will be back next week, hope you like the pics and of course the ships.

Looks like a fun outing! Nice to see the model displays are of a diverse subject matter and not just related to the Massachusetts. That brass cruiser is a sight to behold.

Gary,
If you ever get the chance, be sure to take full advantage! It's pretty amazing in terms of their sheer size and complexity. I thoroughly enjoyed wandering all over the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor a few years back when I had the opportunity.
