Tcoat 2023 Builds

All of these were completed in 2023. Some of them sat unfinished for 5 to 15 years but I got em' done this year.

AMT '60 Chevy Fleetside. This was a test mule for my first attempt at using rattle can lacquer since the kit was bought just for the engine for a bigger project.





Jimmy Flinstone resin '64 Econoline on the Lindberg Dodge Fever chassis and a scratch built interior. Built exactly like a van I owned back in the '70s.





Revell '64 Impala SS converted to convertible. Another model of a car I used to own how it was when I owned it.

  




AMT '69 Corvair. Again a car I owned. There is a pattern here!






MPC "75 Datsun Pickup. You guessed it as I owned it






Pegasus 1/32 Hunter Killer tank from T2. I did NOT own one of these in real life! Yet




AMT '64 Galaxie 500. My grandfather's only new car ever. Kept the promo script on the bottom.




Revell 1/144 Das Boot U96 




Italeri 1/72 USS Ranger. Still needs airwing but calling it done



Of course my Panther GB Meng 1/35 Bergepanther



1/35 Academy M1151. My first Shelf Queen resurrection



And finally (Unless I get the Stuka done)

AFV Club 1/35 M49 Canadian vesion



There will be more since I still have all next week off.

Wonderful builds. Love the cars you used to own segment. The U boat is cool and the carrier looks great even without the fighter wing. I’ve also really been enjoying your shelf Queen resurrections

Well I still have another dozen or more shelf queens so here will be more. Be starting the 2023 group builds but at least two of them are actually shelf queens as well so...

That's a lot of nice modeling. I hope the carrier is 1/720 and not 1/72! But if it is you can spend most of next year building the 1/72 air wing.

My collection is pretty diverse as I don't really have one genre that interests me enough to focus on it. The only kits I go specifically looking for are the ones in my cars I used to own series military equipment I operated or was around a lot and aircraft that I fueled. A lot of the random ones are either built for somebody else or kits I stumbled across really cheap and just went "why not".

LOL ya 1/720. although 1/72 would be easier to get the right aircraft for the airwing.

Thats a really nice batch this year TC! I think Im gonna favor Rommel's Rod and the Terminator HK most of your production line. But the HMMWV and the Tanker Deuce are pretty sweet too!
