It’s 12:45 am here in Hawaii, and the last of the mortar barrages are finally subsiding. Funny how security is so touchy everywhere post 9/11, yet thousands of pounds of illegal fireworks make it into the hands of so many yahoos over here.

We have a neighbor who did the same on New years and the 4th of July way past midnight. My Marshall stack a wah wah pedal and my Fender Strat cranking out the Star Spangled Banner pointing at the back of their house in the early morning to get them up put an end to that..... Funny... where I came from, all the illegal fireworks came from Mexico and China (both very slim on their redneck demographics), and ended up in "da hood" (non existent redneck population count)...  and that doesn't include the "let's re enact Bagdhad 1991" AAA live fire...
