I've gotta say that this did turn out very well Chris. I hear what you're saying about the Alclad Gloss Black lacquer. I've tried to use that stuff several times and finally gave up as I've worked with gloss black a lot in model building and have MUCH better options available. You completed this one in good fashion bud.

Nice Batmobile turned out and was it shiny in the movie? Not that it matters as long as you enjoy it yourself.
Alad, I never have any problems myself, but my surfaces are not as large as the Batmobile.

That has turned out awesome!! Really great work on the black finish and the metallic details on the engine as well. Love it.

Pretty neat subject - turned out nice. I've had good experiences with alclad gloss black as an undercoat for their metallic's, but the dry time is pretty long so I generally use Tamiya gloss black out of a rattle can.
