This is going to be so dang fun to watch you paint and detail this one up Chris. From the looks of the kit it looks like one could just shake the box up, drop it on the floor and it falls together. lol Will be watching for more.  |

May I ask that ya toss a 35th fig for scale? That is IMO the best Batmobile, but I'm more of a modern kinda guy. Thanks boss.

That is a beautiful primer coat you have there!! It looks great even in the dark grey. Also wondering what brand of primer you use. Can’t wait to see it after paint.

In the evening I tried working with Alclad again after years and everything that could go wrong went wrong. I'll have to sand it down again soon and then repaint it with Gunze. I tried with a Triplex, about 1 bar and the stuff sometimes came out of the can with more thinner than paint, despite shaking vigorously. Is the new edition of Ammo. How do you work with Alclad, it seems to be a science in itself.   |

I've always had adhesion issues with their Black so I quit using it. The chrome and metal colors I still always have mixed results with. I am no Alclad expert.

There’s so much black on any Batmobile. I guess the trick is how to add detail/shading for added separation.

Great recovery. I never attempted alclad, so I am of no help there. I will have to try that myself.
