Here is this past year's crop of completions from my workbench

First up is the old box scale MPC Snap Tite AT-ST Scout Walker. I modified it to have the vision port flaps open. This was a Shelf of Doom rescue.



For my 1/48 aircraft collection I completed

Heller Etendard IVM



Monogram F-84F Thunderstreak



Monogram Blue Angels F/A-18A Hornet



Academy Spitfire Mk. XIVe FR



In my 1/35 Armor collection I added these completions

Eastern Express B-4 203mm Howitzer



Takom M3 Lee (early production) started by another modeler who died and completed as part of a tribute build to him for IPMS Nationals.



Tamiya M151A2 TOW jeep, converted to IDF configuration

Many thanks for the kind replies! If I had added some for of ship and real space I'd have all my genre's covered. I had couple more shelf of doom builds that I wanted to complete before the years end, but it didn't happen. This year those two will get knocked out early on.

Brilliant line up Carlos! All quality builds! I know what you mean about shelf queens. I actually finished six shelf queens this past year. That always feels great!

Late to the party! They all came out great! You know that I may be biased that I will say that TOW Jeep and M3 Lee are my favorites!

Andy, thank you for your kind words also! Better late than never. The M3 was enjoyable, but the TOW jeep was something a labor of love for me, being a former TOW gunner. I wanted to do it justice. The others were enjoyable as well... but I think that from the aircraft, the Blues Hornet would have to be my favorite of those...

Good Show, Stikpusher! Jolly Good Show! Your 2023 output was quite a variety of projects, each with varying degrees of difficulty (pain and pleasure both) for the model builder, but you came through with another round of polished up chestnuts that show off your abilities darn well.

Thank you Bruce! Yes, it was a year of subject variety, and that made it a bit more interesting. Just add a ship and something real space and I think all of my preferred subject areas would be covered... perhaps this year...

I'm slowly making my way through these year end threads Carlos. That's a good and productive year you had and I'm really liking that Spitfire but that's certainly not to say that the rest of what you did is top notch stuff. Great work on all of these creations bud.
