RLM 75 is down. Trying something new on the masking. Tamiya indicates its a hard edge - but everything I see is the a soft edge so I monkeyed with the tape - we'll see. I can always soften the edge when I do the mottling.  |

She's continuing to look good John. I really enjoy these Luftwaffe camo schemes and getting them to lay down right and you're doing a great job of it on this one.  |

Started the mottling process with my latest double action airbrush - and I'll admit, I have about 4 hours experience with double action air brushes. The hose I had wouldn't fit my CO2 tank so I had to use my backup little compressor Need to go back and touch up a bit on the heavy bits  AND DO YOU KNOW WHY I HATE COMPRESSORS!@!!!??!! WHY I HAVE USED CO2 FOR 30 YEARS..!!@!   Boom... so may f-bombs came out... I'm ordering the quick connect fittings for my CO2 tank today.  I'll fix it.... |

Looks like you've recovered from the incident mostly unscathed John. I haven't had that happen to me in the years that I've been using a compressor. What paints are you using again?

I hate when that happens. Free handing a dual action can be an adventure that's for sure. Looks like your on the road to recovery on it though

I'm feeling some frustration in the modeling ether here! Those little compressors without decent sized tanks can be deadly. But it does look pretty good, John.

A very good recovery on the overspray with the AB. And with only 4 hours on it no less! My wife rides horses, and gave me a great quote. "The only way you become a better rider is with time in the saddle. There is no substitute". Now mind you, I only appreciate horses from afar. Tricky creatures. Anywho, keep using your AB and sooner than you realize, you'll be fixing boo-boo's as you go. Well done on your build!
