King of the monsters! So it's apparently 16 inches tall. It's the biggest one I could find before going into resin kits and breaking my bank account. I've watched several videos on this kit, there is some extra work needed to make it look good. It's supposed 1/144 scale. I'll start it in a few days, I need to make some room on my desk for this one. Pretty excited to get started!

Oh no, there goes Tokyo, go-go Godzilla! With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound he pulls the city's high tension wires down Helpless people on subway trains scream bug eyed as he looks in on them

So cool!

So cool! I believe that those lines are lifted from the original 1954 movie. I need to see the new one!

Please please please no spoilers for Minus 1. I'm waiting for it to come out on bluray or streaming.

I have seen this built a few times. Nobody seemed to have to many issues but there will be joints to fill. Main thing that I have seen is painting the eyes. Need to be very careful not to give it googly eyes.

Drill out the eyes from behind and replace them with clear hemispheres, with the iris painted on the backside. OR, draw/paint some pretty eyes, then cut them out and glue them to the backsides. They will look crazy. And for a Toho kaiju, it will be pretty easy, since the real costume was pretty much just a clear dome with a black pupil backlit with incandescent light bulbs!
Run some aquarium tubing from his mouth to some inconspicuous area underneath (bottom of a foot?) and borrow some kid's vaping device. GOJIRA FIRE!!!
OK I'll stop here. I'm getting too kaiju-ed out.
