While I cut out endless disks for the Hetzer, I’ll start researching the next build. A German halftrack! Such a neat idea; truck tires and tank style tracks on the same vehicle. Both Bish and I have a common interest in two of Germanys more well known WWII vehicles, Stukas and Sd.Kfz 251’s. So, maybe I can tempt him back to the forums with this build! 😄 Don’t know if I want to build the Panzer Grey version or the DAK camo livery. What are your thoughts and why?

A KPW version of the SPW, sweet! And ya had to mention good ole Bish.
I say DAK for color scheme... just because North Africa is one of my preferred subject areas...

ICM did a new /8a? Dang. Totally missed that!
Is this the same Bish from FSM 10-15 years ago?

He’s taken a prolonged break from modeling for personal reasons, but I’m hoping that we can entice him back. 😄 The only ICM kit I built was the 1/48 Hs 126, and boy was it a pill. Hoping their later generation kits are a little easier.

The DAK stuff always looks more interesting to me - and yes, you can't talk about 251s with out mentioning Bish.

Ok, it IS the same Bish then! He was in the 251 GB I ran at FSM in...2009? 2010? I have a bookmark to that thread on my laptop.

Sweet. I love half tracks. DAK camo would be my choice too.
