All cars need a driver and this figure was a jimmy flintstone resin casting that I repainted after removing his base then pinned him to his new home. This 1/18 die cast of a 1951 Chopped Mercury by ERTL had beautiful teal green pearl paint with red outlined white scallops. Car was totally dismantled, all heat swaged plastic parts released. Lowered the suspension another 3 scale inches. Rear wheel wells filled in. Interior repainted, flocked the carpets. Fuzzy dice are metal beads. Painted in "primer" dark grey acrylic that has been mildly weathered and dusted like the road. Wheels have fat white wall treatment, teeth in grill are metal beads as are the tail pipe extensions Base work started as sealed wood with a polyfilla mix and woodland scenics materials plus some real light coloured dirts and fine gravels. Drybrushed grassy areas with oils.
