That's some tight work in the interior and engine area Brandon. I had to go back and look again to see that it was 1/24 scale. For a second there you had me believing it was in 1/12 scale with all of the details. WOW!!

Okay gents. Here you go. This is, without a doubt, the finest, best fitting kit of any kind I have ever built. EVER!! If you have one, build it, it's awesome. Now, first pic is of the tires. Top two are right out of the box while the lower two are media blasted using my new toy. It is a Chicago neumatics air brush eraser. I used, in this case, 200 grit aluminum oxide to remove the shine from the tire making them look more real. What a difference it makes. You can also use this to etch photo etch for painting larger pieces. Cost was about $60 US.
The paint used was Scale Finishes Silver metallic and 2K clear. I used Micromesh from 4K-12K to get it dead smooth and followed that up with Novis #2 with a soft pad on a Dremel. She is like glass, you just can't tell in the pics. The paint is awesome, far better in person to see. I have about 8 hours in wet sanding and polishing the body.

Love it!!! What do you use to tack the lenses on - I can't see any marks or smudges. Very nice build and the engine bay -wow.

I have a very small dot in each corner to hold them. You can pop them off with little effort in the future if needed. Once that stuff dries, provided it's not to thick or wide in application, you won't hardly see it.

Absolutely brilliant. I concur with your assessment of the kit. It has to be one of the best ever. They really outdid themselves with it. Beautiful job on yours. I love it.

That is simply incredible work, Brandon! 🏆 What a great looking car model, sir. 🤩 Back in my youth, I had three different Ford GT kits; two were IMC and one was an MPC kit. I managed to build two of them, an original GT and a MkII. Recently, I searched around on Ebay and bought another vintage IMC MkII kit. Your beautiful racer is certainly inspiration for me Brandon!
