This is the old Tamiya kit from 1974. So far a super simple and easy build. Actually coming together quite quickly.

Nothing wrong wit these old tami kits bit a clean up some reference they can come out real nice .

That kit is a fun easy build. A great weekend project between a day of building and a day of painting…
The interesting thing about the Tamiya Lee is that they went with the Diesel engined variant, which only saw use with US forces on Makin island in 1943. For historical accuracy, you’d need to swap hulls and fittings with the Tamiya Grant for the proper radial gasoline engine type used by the US in North Africa.

Made a lot of progress today. i should finish up on this one next Saturday (unless Mrs. 19Kilo has things for me to do!)
