Finished my first build from the shelf of shame for the year. The primer and base coat of extra dark green are the only airbrushed layers. The rest is stippled on with a brush. Yes, it did take a very long time even with how small this is. There is no pin wash or any enamel effects on this. The effect is done completely with a brush. There is minimal weathering on this. It is just an experimental piece, and any dirt and grime would cover up all that work. I attached a video of this thing in action. This kit is an older version of the vehicle. The later version as shown in the video had automatic doors on the side to drop the supplies to the troops without stopping. Unfortunately this is not in the kit.

For a frame of reference on the size of the kit. Here it is next to a 1/72 IS-7

Great job!! It looks wonderful. And a big congrats on moving it from the shelf of shame across the finish line.

That is a fantastic build, and so tiny, too. 🤓

That's brilliant! clearly very small.....I did a similar comparison with 1/35 Pz II and a 1/72 King Tiger!
Again, very well done!

For a frame of reference on the size of the kit. Here it is next to a 1/72 IS-7 I've never seen this vehicle anywhere before which adds a good bit to the interest factor. This is indeed a good finish up with the paint and weathering work Dennis.
