That is simply beautiful Erwin! Those newer Airfix kit really are "all that". Plenty of detail and the kit engineering is right up there with the best in the scale modeling industry. You have done an excellent job in replicating this beautiful aircraft with the paint and detail work you threw at it.

406 Silverado Thanks... Not all Airfix kits are good, but the ones I build are great... Still have a 1:24 Mosquito in the stash...  stikpusher The cat was more afraid of the plane than the way around...  She scurried away shortly after taking the picture...

The cat does seem concerned about the large airplane. 🤣 More gorgeous work here!! This is a big beasty for sure and you did an awesome job on it.

A beautifully detailed and painted aircraft. These big scale aircraft like this are a real joy to build on one hand because they lend themselves to having a good amount of detail as well as adding extras. The downside is the obvious factor of where to display them when finished. lol
Some fancy foot work on that one buddy.

Thank you guys. This indeed is a lovely kit to build. I only changed to wheels for Eduard wheels... deafpanzer I have the AMMO-MIG RAF Late WW2 colour set which I used. |
