This thing is just dripping with details Erwin!! I have a strong love for this aircraft and it's good to see the large-scale version of this beauty being built up. That map in the interior is icing on the cake!!!

Beauty. This reminds me, I've got a 1/24th Bandi kit, someday, someday.

1/24? That must be a beast.
I knew France used some Bearcats, but didn't know they also had Hellcats.

Many thanks folks... It is a great kit... 406 Silverado The map included was a very bad decal (detail wise) so I simply looked up a detail of SE asia and printed that.. I also added leads to the rockets. Those planes could be loaded while the wings were folded, that is why I put the rockets on... aaronw The French Navy bought 124 F6F-5s and fifteen F6F-5Ns between 1950 and 1953. They were used by the 11F (ex-1F) and 12F combat squadrons, and by the 54S, 57S and 59S training squadrons. Those aircraft used to intervene over Indochina from various carriers such as CV Arromanches, CVL Lafayette and CVL Bois-Belleau. They were scrapped in 1960. This was before they converted to Bearcats...
