Does anyone have benchtop helpers to keep you moving along? I have these guys to help with the creative flow.

I have none, save the demons inside my head. They are always saying stuff, always whispering. Oh wait, that might just be the Ukrainians using their dream sucker machine. That's how they pick subjects to kit these days, or so it seems.

Yeah I have a few. They're above my laptop next to the bench. Bonus points for anyone that can name them all.

Yeah I have a few. They're above my laptop next to the bench. Bonus points for anyone that can name them all. I see Indiana Jones, Groot, I assume Rocket Racoon (maybe x2?) and of course minions. Really no idea on the others.

I didn't mean to imply only figurines so I edited the title to be more inclusive of decor other than past or current projects as inspiration. I mean I assume we all have built models around to keep us going. I have these above my bench and other similar scattered around the room.

Moses figurine...one of my old bands was "Moses"...and the goat is for another band I played in, "Scapegoat". "Potatoes" was supposed to be my wife's dog....but it turned out that he chose me to be his human!

We had a cat, and then got a dog mostly for my son, as he really missed having a dog. It was soon quite evident that the dog was really the cats pet, and he just shared him with the rest of us. I like your mug, I should find one to serve my wife tea with to remind her that I appreciate her.

Funny how pets do that. We had a cat, and then got a dog mostly for my son, as he really missed having a dog. It was soon quite evident that the dog was really the cats pet, and he just shared him with the rest of us. I still wasn't really ready to get another dog. After Buddy, aka "Junior" (he was MY dog and I was 100% HIS human) passed, back in 13. (He's in the pic on the top shelf with me and the deer) The wife wore me down, and she really wanted a "her dog". We got him in Sept of 22, so he's still a pup. Hims a good boy, and shaping up to be one of the greats! I tried keep some "distance", so he'd gravitate more towards her...but he had other plans. It's about a 75/25 split (me/her). We just got done playing a few rounds of hide-n-seek. That's a 3 person game. One has to distract him, while the other hides. With "Junior", all I'd have to say is "hide?". If he wanted to play, he'd go stick him face in the corner and I'd go hide. He stay there until I gave a signal. Good times!

Here's my benchtop helper. My Pixie Bob, Winston (named him after Winston Churchill when I adopted him from the shelter in 2016)

Hehehe. It really does look like he's chewing on it, doesn't it? He's not...he was just giving the old familial face rub of recognition to a fellow Tomcat.
