1970 Buick GSX

This is a Revell 1/24th scale kit and went together very well. Paint is Dupli-Color Pure White and Krylon Satin Black interior.  I added plug wires, fuel line, and heater hoses to the engine. Mirrors and rear spoiler were pinned and I also added Fireball Modelworks Goodyear decals to the tires. Excellent kit! I just noticed that I forgot to chrome pen the door and trunk locks but I'll do that now! Thanks for looking! 😎

Yea, totally agree the stripe really sets it off. If that's painted on, color me impressed. Actually, even if its a decal I would be impressed.

Of the 678 of ALL the GSX's produced only 187 were white, making this one of the rarest muscle cars ever. Super cool build and great choice on white. Awesome!!

I totally missed the build up of this beautiful car JR so I'll be going back and looking through the construction of it. The outcome is a very crisply built Buick. You never disappoint at all with your model building bud. This is some class act stuff of a super rare car.

Thanks, All! I appreciate your comments! Yes, the stripes are decals. The decals in this kit are those new Cartograph or whatever they are called on blue backing paper. They worked really well and went on nicely. I'm going to grab another one of these while they are still on the shelves to stash with some of my other kits that i am going to build later. I still have one of the original Revell 55 Chevys that was a new tool about 10=15 years ago. I put this kit right up there with some of the "new tools" like the 68 and 69 Chevelles but I know its an old Monogram kit because of the 1/24th scale and other features like the interior bucket. Still a nice kit!

I agree... I really have always liked the monogram kits, but this one in my opinion is fantastic. And you did a heck of job on it! Very nicely done, sir!
