Hello all,
Happen to stumble upon Modeler's Social Club Forum while searching through North America sci-fi scale model clubs.
I find my style is a bit different from what I see here but I hope it may be of interest to some.

Glad to have you aboard newdesides. Is that a 1/400 scale kit? We have several folks building in the gundam genre and this will most certainly be of interest to not only them but the rest of the gang here too.

Newdesides,
Welcome to the forums! Yes we have Gunpla builders here. By your handle, I assume you are a Gundam Sentinel fan? It is a great series, underserved by Nippon Sunrise (now Bandai) in that there is yet to be an anime for it. With modern CGI animation getting close to the look of traditional hand-drawn stuff like in Gundam Origins and Hathaway's Flash, I would imagine a Sentinel series would look so cool.
The Xeku Eins is one of my favorite Sentinel designs! When I was young, I thought the Xeku Zwei was cooler, but having dual hamburger thrusters on your heinie does not a cool mech make. It's more of a "I can hardly walk Gundam" design. The Zeta Plus is another favorite of mine. Katoki was really able to exercise his aesthetic to the fullest in Sentinel.

Thanks for the warm welcome! With work and kids, I can only build/take pics at night. So I can only upload one or two pics a day. Sorry for the slow trickle... With that said, let me properly introduce this kit. Bandai HGUC line (scale 1/144) From Gundam Sentinel (used to be a side story, believe it is cannon now?) RMS-141 Xeku Eins High Mobility Base armor color - Flat Blue/Red 60/40 Mechanical parts vents etc. - Pearl Green on Flat Gray Backpack - Pearl Purple on Flat Gray Shoulder, fuel tanks - Hand drawn graphics with soft lead color

Very nice, both model and the new pics!
Is this the natural color of the kit or did you paint it?

Great photos and really like the whole look. What camera are you using to accomplish this with?

hey 406 Silverado, I used a Sony NEX mirrorless with an adapter to a 80's Sigma wide angle lens. I think its mainly the lighting, which I used all florescent white, that gives it a more "darkness from space" look.

This is a standard HGUC kit (not a P-Bandai)? I have never come across this before, anywhere. Stellar finish!

Hey Dupe, this is a regular Bandai kit as Real G mentioned, it was released back in the early 2000s, quite old. There are some minor modification to it, mainly the shoulder fuel tanks. Thanks for the complement!
