Okay, I'm still trying to catchup on here and will gradually get through as much as I can. I promise. This one is the first one for 2024. Not the worst kit from the ancient Monogram line. But too many thingys sticking our and up and easily broken off. Those of you that know me from SPAM (yes, still down) know my reputation for losing and breaking stuff. The count on this one? Pitot tube, guns, dorsal antenna - broken off. Tailwheel - "Poof"....simply gone. My guess is it got caught up in the interstellar blackhole of darkness knows as the bench and was enveloped in tape and discarded. I did find something that I could stick in that spot and keep the tail off the floor, as it were. I've been struggling with fininshing up builds. Quality has suffered greatly lately. The longer the builds take, the more I handle them the more damage they suffer. So, Here we are. Used kit decals, which were good...ish.

Looks good, Lyle. They don't have to be perfect as long as they are fun.

Despite your issues I think that’s turned out really nicely! Good looking paint scheme too. Well done!

Looks good, Lyle. They don't have to be perfect as long as they are fun. Thanks John. Right after I posted this, Picked up an old Monogram B-26G to re-do the gray undersides and 10 minutes later it was in the trash. Some days you get the bear, some days the bear gets you!

The paint wasn't too bad, but for some reason my yaller (KY for yellow) Frog tape didn't want to seal tight along the edges on the OD The NMF is simply Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal Silver.

And I found a couple of pieces I left out / off in areas. I do not generally do weapon loads as I don't think they would have them while parked. Just my preference. Yeah, the dorsal antenna, guns and pitot tube are stretched sprue - actually stretched styrene tubing.
