About 2 yrs ago I decided to get back into this hobby, it's been great enjoyment ever since. Here's a few of my 1/48 scale completed projects.
The 1st build, all rattle-can spraying and brushwork. Tamiya kit
Then I discovered the airbrush. Tamiya kit
Trumpeter Kit

Amazing builds! I can see a huge difference in painting between first and second builds when you started to use airbrushing method. The rotary blades are very eye catchy by the way.

That's great stuff, how long did you say you were inactive in modeling I hadn't built a model since childhood, maybe 11 or 12. Took it back up 2 yrs ago at 61. But I've spent a lifetime using tools etc,. in various fields.

Wow, super cool. Love the Swordfish. I chose the Swordfish after building a 1/350 of the Bismarck and reading the story of her demise. There are some fantastic videos with John Moffat of the Royal Navy, who was credited as the pilot who dropped the torpedo that disabled Bismarcks rudder. John lived up until Dec of 2016.

I really like all that you have done in these photos but what really catches my eye is the Swordfish not only for the painting aspect but also for all the rigging that you had to do to that thing and pull it all off that well. That looks pretty darn spiffy right there Bryan.

I have a VERY annoying tremor in my right hand, which usually acts up at the exact time when precise dexterity is needed! (Luv the dancing Bigfoot)

I spewed more than my fair share today on my current project. Looks like you were able to work past that tremor that you have to deal with just fine on this beauty of an aircraft. P.S. That aint no Bigfoot brutha.....that's Chewie.

I had seen that on SMA website. I received that kit a few days after you invited me over to here, it had been in transit from Hobbylinc.

Good looking trio! Those three are a great way to get back into building models! What’s on your workbench now? I've got several (probably more than I should do concurrently!), The Yamato & USS Enterprise in 1/350 - Tamiya, a Type VII-C U-Boat in 1/144, a Batmobile in 1/25 and I'm just finishing up an A10A in 1/48 - Tamiya and a 1/700 titanic by Academy. I have a large workbench/area, it's always crowded. But I suppose that I am not alone with that problem?, and it is a great problem to have because it means that we are having FUN! I'm retired and fortunate in that I can devote as much time as I want to this great hobby!
How about you?, did I read in a post that you like military stuff?
Bryan

Gimme a heads up when it's on the bench and I'll help you out with some of the problematic issues with the kit Bryan. If you'll go through the entire build thread that I have you'll see what I did to correct alot of the fit issues. 70 STING helped me out quite a bit with mine so I'll be paying it forward.

Awesome, thnx Pal. Tho that project may have to wait until I get to my next house. I'm trying to wind things down a bit in order to break-camp at some point, my current priority is to move down to the Carolinas (somewhere, haven't chosen a town yet-not sure where to land?). But I will keep in mind your offer of assistance.
