Hi there. Here's a kit that I won at PennCon a couple years ago. There was supposed to be a (Historical Book) in with the kit but it wasn't. The 2-piece canopy was also missing. All efforts to get replacements from Revell were failures. "The kit is OOP and we don't have any spares" is what I got. So I put out a call for anyone on the other forum that had a "spare". Well, I got my wish and a member vacuum formed me 2 copies. The kit went together rather well with no major problems. I loved the movie so it was built as Lt. Brubakers plane. Had to UV the decals on the living room window and they came out ok except for a little cracking of the dragons on the nose. So, here's the pics. All criticism gratefully accepted whether good or bad. Bad only makes me work harder on the next one. photos.app.goo.gl/PSuaRxAE56654h2H6Stay safe. Jim Stay safe. Jim

That turned out pretty dang good Jim. Very good looking build with plenty of detailing and a great paint job at that. Hey bud, if you'll right click on your picture you'll see a drop down box that will have Copy Image Link in the list of options to choose from. What you'll do then is click the picture icon in the toolbar above the text area of your post . You'll see a box that says Insert Image. You'll then paste the link into the Image URL line of that box and your photo will appear like so:

That's the kit! Fairly easy build. No major problems. Heard that other peoples kits were missing the book and the canopies too. I guess a couple of the assembly line people must have went to the same party the night before.
Stay safe. Jim

Jim I can’t say exactly, as I’ve never used google as a photo host. I know that via Postimage you can post multiple images in a single post.

Hi there. Here's a kit that I won at PennCon a couple years ago. Dang, man. This is hot! That paint job is fantastic. And the cockpit...got to be aftermarket?

Thanks for the kind words guys!
Keavdog, The white framing on the canopy is the usual taping, airbrushing and very carefully peeling the tape off. I have to admit, it was one of my better canopy paint jobs.
Dupes, The pit is stock except for the seatbelts. I didn't like them so I switched them with a set from the spares box.
Stay safe. Jim
