Ok so we are off again. Kit came in with some goodies. After the ZM nightmare this will be a joy. Stay tuned, as Ill crack this puppy in a few days.

That being said, my nose didn't fit the greatest... kinda un-Tamiya-like. Overall pretty easy build though. Sucks the ZM kit was so bad.

Hi all!

So we are off on the butcher Bird build finally. Volunteered to do some model work for the national Guard Museum in Raleigh so with that wrapped up I finally kicked this one off.

So I sat down last night after cleaning the sprues and started removing parts from the sprue trees. My goal was to just get the CP parts off, cleaned and prepped for painting and AM stuff. Well about 2 hours went by and I had both sprues naked and all the parts off and cleaned.......LOL....just got in a groove I guess.

A beautiful, simple kit to relax and build and after the last nightmare I needed it.

Got everything ready for primer and will take care of that tomorrow.

Joe - holy cow you cant imagine how glad I was when he picked that “thing” up…..lol.

As is always the case im missing some colors cause Vallejo cant package their box sets correctly. On my way to mr LHS at noon to rectify that.

Hi all;

Been a bit so apologize for the late updates. Just been busy as a one armed paper hanger in a round room.

Everything is assembled and paint is finally on. The front office was a bit fiddly but in there and the canopy was........OK, probably something I did. All the other fiddlies are painted. once this coat cures Ill lay down the gloss clear and get to decaling.
