The iconic F-86 Sabre, or CL-13 as designated for those built by Canadair in Montreal, is my favourite Cold War era aircraft. I've built a model for each squadron that flew them in the RCAF during the 50s and 60s, along with a few other markings.
401 'Ram' Squadron 
410 'Cougar' Squadron 
413 'Tusker' Squadron 
'414 'Black Knight' Squadron 
416 'Lynx' Squadron
421 'Red Indian' Squadron. This is the airframe my uncle was flying when he was KIFA in France in 1953.

Whoah, very nice! Are these all in 1/48 (I'm assuming so)? Or is there a good 1/72 kit out there?

Whoah, very nice! Are these all in 1/48 (I'm assuming so)? Or is there a good 1/72 kit out there? Thanks Dupes. Most are 48th scale. The 414, 421, 427, 439 Squadrons and the Golden Hawks are all 32nd scale kits. Academy makes a nice 72 scale Sabre kit. |

Very impressive! One for each RCAF squadron operator? Thats quite an undertaking! Good thing you didn't try that for all of the USAF squadrons!
