The wife and I had our first experience with Covid after four years,it was no fun,a lot like the a bad flu, which I also haven't had in 20 years.Just stayed in bed and rested.Fever broke but still have a slight cough, but no taste or sense of smell,I do hope they come back.A friend of ours hasent had taste in 2 years since she had covid.
Not back on the bench yet but well enough to check out the forums and watch football later.

Glad you're back Tony. Yikes man! Sounds like you and your wife have been through the wringer alright but am hopeful for a swift recovery from here forward and hope you get your sense of taste back.

So sorry to hear that. Covid is the gift that keeps on giving! Both the wife and have had it but were lucky. Just felt bad for a few days. Do what you are doing and take it easy.

The wife and I both had this in late 2019 before the big scare was ginned up. We did not get slapped down hard by it like you guys, it was simply a dry, hacky cough that did not go away for seven or eight weeks. Some mutations there I'd guess with a new generation every fifteen minutes it's bound to happen. Some of the neighbors got it in early '21, they had a much harder time of it and also lost those senses but have gradually gained them back.
Do what you're doing and you'll be OK. Don't push it you don't want to relapse

Glad you're on the mend. My wife and I had it ( or at least I think it was Covid - didn't get tested) Felt like crap for a couple days and then, as said above, a persistent annoying cough that lasted weeks. Take advantage of your condition and spray some lacquers 😂

Dang, Tony, get back up to speed mue pronto. That garbage whooped my hinny like I've never been whooped before. It was two yrs into that Shanghi flu when we got it, but IVM and a few other naturopathic remedies did the trick. I'd go bonkers if I couldn't smell or taste, because that's the other half of an enjoyable life, lol. All things in moderation, of course. Hang trough, Tony, this too shall pass

It ABSOLUTELY SUCKED! However I never had a fever. Glad you are on the mend Tony. Good thing about lose of smell....now you'll never know when your dog farts . Stay well my friend.

Glad to hear that you're on the mend Tony. I've had it twice now, but in neither case did I lose my sense of taste or smell.... Man I would not like that symptom. I finally just kicked the reduced endurance/lung capacity thing from my most recent bout right after Christmas.

Man that sucks. I've had it twice and it sucked. Never lost taste or smell but the fatigue and lung issues kicked my butt. Covid likes to go through your body and find the weak points and attacks it.

Rest up and get better Tojo72!
A coworker gave me COVID (thanks Robert) a while back, but I was lucky and didn't get slammed too hard. The 3-day long headache was the worst part. My taste came back quickly, but now things seem to taste "different". Actually the worst part was working from home. I don't normally do the telecommuting thing, so with my work computer sitting on my dining room table, I ended up working at all hours of the day.

Tony, I am glad you both are OK. My wife and I had it twice and both experience wasn't the same. First case was pretty rough and it took us more than 3 weeks to feel 100% better. My wife still don't have full sense of smell after two years now. Second case was very mild as it just felt like a bad case of cold. I am afraid it will never go away and it will be part for rest of our lives just like flu and cold.

It got a hold of us too, Tony. Same as you, major fatigue. Glad you’re on the mend. My wife unfortunately is going on year number two without smell.

First, Tony glad you're feeling better.
I had it early '21. Tested positive, but was Asymptomatic, didn't even have the sniffles. My son had it last year, just a bad cold. Wife got it right after Christmas, flu like symptoms. I had a cold right before so she blames me.
