Reminds me of the Joad's truck in the Grapes of Wrath
I also have given up on resin conversions there was a time when it was fun but no longer for all the reasons you've already stated. Never worked with Black Dog stuff but I think lousy instructions are endemic to them all.
That said, this will have a great busy look to it and will beg for a desert base when done

Well, that's one heck of a toybox, I say, sheesh! Three guys crammed in there?, Wow! No kidding! I would be very grateful that it was not fully enclosed because it would have sucked if somebody farted in there!!! Jeez, it has more than a month since my last update!!! I am sorry for being slow and I haven't been around for several weeks because of work. Working for 50-60 hours totally killed my mojo and free times to stop by here. But things are getting better at the office since we hired an assistant last week to help us during the transition since my manager is retiring in May and I will be promoted to Executive Director for the agency. To my surprise, Tamiya didn't provide gas and brake pedals... shame on you Tamiya! So I had to build one from scratch.   When I posted the actual pics of the Special Ops Humvee that I saw at EAA show, it made realize that Tamiya didn't provide the smoke dischargers, fortunately I found nice aftermarket set in Australia on eBay!   My build rule... must have a figure or two! My victim...  I admit I was disappointed how it came out of the box... a lot of cleaning unlike other better resin figures such as my fav Apline Miniatures.  Couple of hours later...  Started to add the interior details...  Hope I will have more free times to work on it... I must finish it in time for IPMS Nats in Madison. |

This is looking really good buddy! Looking forward to seeing paint! Thanks buddy! Still need to add about 20 more resin parts especially the guns. Indy, huh? Doubtful, but…wife is having some issues. Gotcha! Family especially the wife COMES FIRST! I am sure we will get to meet. I attend Louisville show sometimes so I will let you know.
