Sorry honey, I know that I am not supposed to start another build until I finish the Panther!!! Because the Panther is in its painting stage it was impossible for me to bring it to the club building event last month so I had to build something. Originally I wanted to start the Fw190 but the aftermarket stuff didn't arrive in time so I started another Humvee that I have chosen for my local club 'Made in Indiana group build for IPMS Nats in Madison. Did you know that all Humvees are built in Mishawaka, Indiana which is two hours north of me? This time its 1/35... Unfortunately I have to use the BlackDog upgrade set AGAIN despite its crappy instructions because I already had it in the stash for a while and it wasn't cheap... I think I like to be tortured that way! Sh!tty instructions by BlackDog as usual...
The 50 cal MG was so bad so I grabbed a better set along with some stuff... So far... I am still shopping around for a decent SF operator resin figure or two... thanks for looking!

Seeing what you did with the 1/48 Humvee....I can only speculate what you're capable of doing with the larger scale version. Watching.......

Excellent project Andy. I remember seeing either 2nd Ranger Battalion or 1st SF Group training up on a similar type of HMMWV at Ft Lewis about 20 years ago when we crossed paths with them in training at a MOUT site.

Bookmarked! The Black Dog kits I have on my bench skipped "instructions" altogether and I'm just fine with that. It will be less confusing this way

Seeing what you did with the 1/48 Humvee....I can only speculate what you're capable of doing with the larger scale version. Watching....... Thanks! So far it has been easier than the 1/48 version... just more wrapped pieces that I have to deal with. Excellent project Andy. I remember seeing either 2nd Ranger Battalion or 1st SF Group training up on a similar type of HMMWV at Ft Lewis about 20 years ago when we crossed paths with them in training at a MOUT site. Sweet! I saw similar one at EEA airshow in Oshkosh and I knew right away I had to build one. I hope I still have those pictures and I will share when I find those... Sometimes, it just can’t be helped. Yep, just like mother nature! LOL Holy crapsnacks! So much for an easy out of the box Tamiya build. Hahahaha LOLOLOLOL! I guess so! Maybe the out of box build can not be found in my dictionary? You know me... must have all aftermarket stuff... This should be very good. Glad to have you along too... thanks! Yeah baby that's what I'm talking about!!! Thanks buddy! I admit I am pretty excited about this one. Hope I get to see you at IPMS Nats too!!! Sign me up for this one Andy!! Very cool!! Sorry about the black dog stuff but we already know you’ll get those upgrades hammered out despite the crappy instructions YES! That would be awesome! Our next meeting will be on Feb 16th. I still have your kits. LOL Gonna' need some squat in that rear end with all that stuff in the back. And my back is screaming NNNOOOOOOOO too!!! LOLOLOL Somew, here on that vehicle, there is a husband telling the wife they are only going to be gone two days…. Absolutely! Feel free to join us she may not notice that you are missing for few days... Bookmarked! The Black Dog kits I have on my bench skipped "instructions" altogether and I'm just fine with that. It will be less confusing this way Yeah, fortunately for BlackDog website that I can reply on better and sharper images of their builds. It was like a puzzle trying to figure out where those pieces go. Fun fun fun!

I gave up wrestling with Black Dog products. The price and the quality just never matched.

All that gear is gonna take a hot minute to paint up. The kit will go fast, but all that gear is not gonna go fast. Super cool build. I'm in..

Coming along great! Looks like the resin is cooperating with you so far Yeah so far so good. I have to deal with some wrapped pieces with the heat gun next before I can build more. Thanks HD!!! Oh yeah! I figure the trip to your state Washington is pretty long so I need to have just enough so I can stop by and say hi! Ok, not sure where the cabinet I built ya will go, but that'll be your problem, HA! HAHAHAHA! Maybe you can build me a 1/35 or even better 1/16 cabinet? Jeeeeeez! That's a lot of junk in the trunk! Eagerly waiting for an update! Thanks Mike! That's very good junk... you can't go wrong with extra ammo, fuel and food! I gave up wrestling with Black Dog products. The price and the quality just never matched. I am afraid you are right about the rising prices lately. I was very fortunate I bought many sets especially stowage sets before the pandemic when they were only $18-25! Stowage sets are good but those upgrade sets are not always good. You need to watch more WWE so you can learn some good wrestling tips. All that gear is gonna take a hot minute to paint up. The kit will go fast, but all that gear is not gonna go fast. Super cool build. I'm in.. Glad you like it too! I am afraid it will take many days for me to paint the details... I thought they were little too much but now I really like it!!! Thanks buddy
