I’m venturing out a bit on this one. First off, I rarely do modern vehicles, preferring instead to build WWII era. Also, after a 20+ year break, I’ve picked up airbrushing again. As far as the build so far, it’s early but no issues at all, which is exactly whatI’d expect from a Tamiya kit. I’m painting using Tamiya Acrylic NATO Green thinned with Tamiya Acrylic thinner. I’ll probably use only light weatheringon this, as it is a commissioned display piece for an Armor officer in the US Army.

Bookmarked, a neighbor turned a wrench on one of these when he served. We had a few conversations about them until our wives would start rolling their eyes..

Great subject choice! The most kickass piece of armor to come out of the USA! Indeed it is. In my younger days, I served on the M1IP and then the A1. The A2s were just starting to come out in my later days.
