Congratulations on getting this over the line after such a long period!! I absolutely love the camo on this one. And the figures add a great touch too. Brilliant work.

Congrats on the 20th anniversary of your great start. Super cool build. I want one of these but they never seem cheap enough. Awesome finish!!!

Thanks guys!
Tony, it was actually pretty fun to do the camo finish. Hand brushing does does have its own allure in cases like this.
Kyle, I can’t say enough good things about this set of Dragon figures. They are made for their own Marder III H, but obviously they’ll work great on this kit as well.
Chad, it’s always an accomplishment to finish a long sidelined project
Brandon, I’ll bet you can find one for a good price somewhere. At least one of these secondhand.

Fantastic finish to this long shelved build! I suddenly stuck me seeing this finished that I built this very kit back in the late 1970's.

Excellent job on this ancient kit Carlos. Skill and perseverance win out over antiquated molds. I love the camo.

Thanks guys! Brent, I built an old Italaeri boxing of this kit back in the 70's as well... didn't turn out as well back then... TOW, I will not let any kit defeat me... LOL! In one respect my skills improved quite a bit in between the time I first started it and when I decided to finish it all up last year. I guess some perseverance was involved too... R, I don't think that it'll win any prizes, but I'm very happy to add it to my 1/35 German Army in Italy...

I thought the camo was kind of stark earlier, but the weathering brought it all together. Well done, Carlos! And the figures are a real add.

Thanks guys! Clint & John, the camo was fun do with a good old brush and I had a pretty good bunch of photos to show how it should look. The dusty weathering toned it down to where it all came together. TJ, you, Floquil enamels. All I know for certain is that is started it and got about halfway done and some painting started before September of 2004…

I really like how the camo came out as it looks like if it was applied on the field. Everything looks great and this is the kind of build I always enjoy to follow.
