With the Mossie nearing the end of the build it was time to pick something from the stash and this lovely kit was the only thing that was shouting "build me" Now these bikes were big news in the 1980's in the UK with the youngsters Got to start with getting the chrome parts stripped of, far too shiny for this build

Wow thanks for joining me, bikes must be popular Started a few sub assemblies just to get going, can't find my oven cleaner to strip the pre dipped chrome parts they are far too bright Going to be a slow build while I get myself back in the hang of building

They are Lyle, the only down side to them is the instruction, you pretty much have to guess where the the parts join, they are printed very blurry. There are also no locating pins to join parts you just have to guess again, I've been told this is the norm with Heller kits, hmm, I've got a Bentley too

I am suprised still today, at how bad instructions can be.

Sorry for the lack of any updates from me lately. Just had my hip replaced five weeks ago and not been able to sit on the stool at the workbench, getting around now with a walking stick so I hope to be back at it very soon

Ouch! I hear great things post hip replacement though. BTW I rode the YZ 125 way back. Super fun bike. Probably not as torquey as the TY
