Laid the B-52 aside; I had an uncontrollable urge to hurry the project so I decided to pull this one out and hurry with it instead. A good little model, fit well and is detailed pretty well for the scale

















My first blue airplane. I panited it with Tammy Gloss Blue and it was so shiny it was dazzling, I really could not see it well so a coat of clear semi gloss was applied. This allowed me to see it well enough to second coat it, eliminate the thin spots and apply the decals after which I toned it down again with the semi gloss. I tried a Flory's wash on it but it disappeared in the dark blue so I washed it off and called this one done

Beautiful Bent Wing Bird!!! Good idea to tone down the glossy paint using the semi gloss clear coat. Unless your building a demonstration team or airshow warbird/museum type aircraft, operational aircraft in glossy schemes are not as glossy as gloss paints tend to make them.
