Oh Sh1t, that's where mine is stowed. Actually it's a Coyote, but I think it can be built as a Jackal with lots of bits box fodder left over, and I have the crew figures somewhere...
Regards,
M

Jeez Bob! Man you’re right….dude must’ve had this in the garage for a bit. You’re doing a great job of working with it though and it’s shaping up well. I hear you on taking a break. I thought I was gonna take a break for a few weeks after I finished the Vette up and got bored after a couple of days of not being at the bench. So…..out came the Ta-152.
Looking forward to more updates buddy.

Hi all; So progress has been smooth. Breaks here and there but I have had such a blast with this little kit I cant stop lol. Despite the warpage and very little fit issues this is a hoot. So my usual Mr Surfacer 1500 Black primer was sprayed. I let that cure for about 2 days. I had a little concern as this really was the first time I have worked with this Airfix type plastic so I was a bit hesitant. The newer Airfix I have in my stash the the 1/48 Buccaneer are I guess the more "main stream" styrene. Anyway; after all that I hit it with MMP-039 British sand yellow modern AFV. Again this stuff goes down like silk. After that cured for about another 2 days I Hit it with my usual Tamiya X-22 Clear cut 40 Clear to 60 Mr Leveling thinner. Once that cured I added the minimal amount of decals. I have some touchup seam lines I saw that need to be addressed but in those areas they are a different color than the base and will be hand brushed. So that plus a pin wash, a smidge of chipping, some dust and we should be good to go. hopefully by the weekend. -Bob

I've never even heard of this vehicle before, but it does look interesting.
Nice clean job with it so far. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Thank you Carlos Kyle - thank you. Wont have long to wait my friend. Handi -agree 100%. The Airfix I guess 'early plastic" is kinda a weird. When the Mr Surfacer 1500 went on I was concerned it would be too hot and melt. held up to a huge sigh of relief on my part. Mike - Thank you. I did not as well till I saw the box art of this thing when Airfix did a 1/48 box set for Operation Herrick. There was I believe another armored vehicle and a chopper. Saw the kit at the last show and said Ok, let me check it out. Jmarc - Thank you. Was some hurdles to overcome but still a blast to build. TG - Thank you my friend. I chuckled at your quote under your avatar "Slowly building down my stash.....Only 600 more to go" LMAO...I fell ya brother. Thank you all. Off to post the finished product in the Completed section -Bob
