It's warped in alot of places, molded in hard plastic, has foggy trasparencies, and shows signs of large gaps on the underside of the fuselage and the wing roots BUT...it has recessed panel lines with well defined detail and the molding is pretty sharp and crisp especially considering the age of this kit. I think it'll build up pretty well and I'll have the opportunity to put my new favorite filler goo to a hard test

Progress to date Ill fit on the wing roots and horizontal stabilizers Very close to primer Ill fit on lower fuselage/wing seam. This was the best arrangement possible to keep everything mostly lined up No nasties I was not expecting given the age of this molding so far

Oh sweet! You are sending me down Memory Lane with this! I remember getting it as a Christmas present when I was nine. I built it, painted it and it is still hanging on my ceiling now! I'm bookmarking this now....

Oh yes! I still have my first armor model I built when I was seven; my first fighter and bomber I built when I was six; my first ship I built when I was seven. And nearly every model since those years; which is why I have 1706 completed models in my house.

Nothing like memories from awhile back Right then, I found some masks for the Italeri version of this AC and gambled they might be the same or close enough. Glad I did not bet a grand as I lost, they did not come close to crossing over. This means masking the hard way, tape and knife which I ain't over good at but perhaps it'll be good enough. I'm doing the vertical and horizontal windscreed frame seperatly; I figure this will keep my paint lines straighter. This will get primer in the morning after the last bit glued on are cured up

Thanks blokes H It went fast 'cause I did no detail work on the inside, one bet I made was the interior would be invisible once the halves were joined and the windscreen put in. Won that one, me. A couple different colors for y'all. The sequence starts with a couple trenches the first coat of primer revealed that I had to work up a bit And here's the undercoat for the camo surfaces. The bottom and the engine nacelles will be left this color Maybe, just maybe I won't have to Flory's wash this one if I play my cards right
