I like seeing shelf queens get finished. Bookmarked! Are you going to weather up this or just basically "git r done"

Thanks for the interest! Well.. not a single model without a problem. Panzerart forgot to make windows in their tarp, althought this reference photo is in their product site. Making holes for windows isn't that bad, but thinning resin to look good around windows is. Some photos show those windows shut down with a canvas flap and that is also my solution.

I feel your pain Jukka. Sometimes I just don't get how a manufacturer can put something on the box top or have reference shots that have certain things present and once the builder opens up the box........it's something totally different. AMT did this with their 1967 Mustang kit. The box top shows the car with Wide O Oval Firestone tires and the car has a slight forward rake giving it a more aggressive look. However, upon opening the box you'll find tires with the Firestone Super Sports tires with a a$$ low/ nose high stance??!! First of all, I've never even heard of Super Sports tires and secondly the lettering was totally oversize. I addressed the issue with AMT and got the correct tires but I had to do some fancy footwork to correct the stance. It'd be nice to put what's ON the box IN the box. lol. In short......I feel your pain Jukka but know that you'll prevail.

This was quite an easy fix. Some green stuff and a little sculpting. Not perfect, but better than without.

VERY convincing paint work on this Jukka!! Sorry to hear about the decals but it looks like you were able to get the issues resolved with them so far. Looking forward to seeing what you'll do next with this.

Just Looking at the photos, the decals don’t appear to have any thickness to them. You did a great job.

This is looking fantastic. I did this kit ages ago as a kid and I recall it being a pretty tiny little kit even in 1/35 scale.
