Whatever mistakes there may be, you’re sure correcting them in good fashion Neo. This is already a fabulous build up. The details that you’ve put into this so far are amazingly carried out.

You may see on photos that firstly I make grooves and then fill putty into them. I use tiny modelling knives to form the weld.

HOLY WELD BEADS! Those beads look great; what tool are you using to create the parallel (vs. stacked dime) look in the weld beads?
The detail you added to this is next-level stuff; you must have some good reference photos to work from. It looks great!

I use two tiny knives from one Russian manufacturer. They are very lightweighted and sharp.

I can see now why you wouldn't want to paint over all of this brilliant work. I wouldn't want paint to be within a mile of such work.

How do you apply the putty so precisely? are you using a syringe?

How do you apply the putty so precisely? are you using a syringe? No I don't use it. On one of previous post I showed my instruments. Only them and putty. Probably years of experience too

I had a good look at your work with the track tensioner Neo. You don't miss much in the way of detail do you buddy? Looks like you could adjust everything up to get the slack out of the track with that setup. lol
