Picked up this 1/72 Vespid Panther G Late off Amazon. Very nice looking kit. Lots of fiddly and tiny photo etch that will probably not be used but that's the way it goes with 65 yo eyes and big hands. Nicely molded parts are flash free and trees are individually packaged. Photo etch comes packaged with an aluminum gun barrel and 2 3D printed muzzle brakes, one with the cover on it. This on top of the one piece plastic slide molded barrel and brake provided. There are also different style storage bins for the rear plate including a hinged bin for storage of IR equipment and the ribbed version bins produced by MAN, also includes a set of steel wheel for the last station on a MAN Panther. 3 different mantlets, 2 styles of exhausts and 2 different sets of final drive housings. Lots of cool extras to help the parts box. Kit comes with color paint schemes for 4 different Panthers and a small decal sheet. Instructions seem clear and easy to follow.

Remember back in the day when 1/72 meant a max of 6 parts?

Awesome kit to have picked up. That prove to be an excellent build. I had heard several good things about Vespid 1/72 armor kit and as such I acquired their Jagdpanther. Impressive kit i must say. Looking forward to you getting into this one.

Remember back in the day when 1/72 meant a max of 6 parts? True! I still tend to think of the Airfix, Matchbox, and Hasegawa 1/72 & 1/76 armor kits that I built as a kid...

Oh yes, I've already built that. A wonderful kit. Be careful when gluing the chains together. They react strongly to the glue.

Link and length tracks in 1/72...not my favorite! The rest of it looks pretty stellar, though.

At first glance thought it was a larger kit with all the details.

At first glance thought it was a larger kit with all the details. It is so easy to forget just how small those parts are from the pictures. The little hooks on the etch frame must be almost microscopic in reality!
