Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like it. Wow! That sure is a beautiful build, Hassenpfeffer. Just curious...what did you use for the padding on the edge of the glareshield? Hey, thanks Marc. I didn't use anything... LOL, it's the kit part. The color I chose to paint it isn't my favorite though. I think it's a bit too "bright". I think if I made one I'd try to use styrene rod of the appropriate diameter. I'm sure you could possibly roll some epoxy type putty that could work too. Well done. How do you do your antennas? Thanks keavdog. The antenna is just EZ line. I think the size = fine? This stuff is great since it's elastic, so you can stretch it some to make it taut. The isolators are just CA glue. (I didn't paint them.) The conical deflector is styrene rod that I carefully drilled a hole in and then shaped (sort of) with a sanding stick. This wasn't easy, so it doesn't look awesome as it's near impossible to make symmetrical. But it's also so small you can't really tell. I'm sure I'll try to come up with other ideas for those too in the future. Does that cover it, or was there something else you were shooting for?

Very helpful. Thanks. I think I have some EZ line I bought for the my Titanic model.

I was gone all of last week due to being out of town but am now back to see this beauty of a 190 all finished up. I've brought up in my own Tamiya 190 D-9 thread about the gear being too short, so I built it with the Eduard complete main landing gear to correct that issue. Until they are compared side by side like you've posted up one wouldn't think that there'd be that big of a difference but there is. You brought up about the prop spinner and rivet detail which are also good points to the Eduard kit. Eduard 190's do have their hang ups (particularly the earlier releases of their 190 line up) but they are so worth it in the end results. What you've done here with your build is something to be proud of Dave. What a good looking Fw190 bud.
