Made some more progress on the wings and engine nacelles. Had to do some truing up of the wing root area to get the fit and to get the alignment correct I needed to glue the wings from the wing root out. Apparently sitting on the shelf since the 90's flattened out the wings to set the "twist" and the "bend" back. Probably need to do the same on my other 5 B25 kits.

I had some older kits in my stash that I used to have in the garage around 15 years ago and all of them got distorted/ warped over the years of being out there. Even with them now in my closet inside the house I still get that every once in a while if I've had a kit for a while. Making some good progress on this one Paul.

Those are some great OOB engines Paul and you've painted them up and weathered them nicely. When these Accurate Miniature kits first came out they were the cutting edge in terms of details. Hated to see 'em go.

Hated to see 'em go. Some one has reissued them I heard as I recall. Academy? I have all their kits including all the Vettes and the 3 Can-Am cars.Only missing the Gulfhawk, the Yak on skies and the F51 Reno Air racer.

Lookin' terrific so far Paul. Hey.....at least you're trying a figure out (which looks great btw), I haven't made it that far in my modeling yet. You don't do figures........I am truly shocked Joe!! Even I dabble with them!!

Hopefully a little pasticard will resolve the fit issue. Close to primer and paint now!

Hopefully a little pasticard will resolve the fit issue. Close to primer and paint now! AN 613 will probably be shot on it by the weekend than a few days before the grey.

This is coming along very well so far Paul. Man…..I’m jealous of all those AM kits that you’ve got!! I’ve got this one, an Avenger and a Dauntless in the stash.

Great to see this one again! It's taking shape with the tail on I finished the pilot for it today after 6 months work. He'll be next to it on a piece of carrier deck.
I especially love the leather treatment you pulled off!

Good looking B-25. I built the D version of the kit some years ago and it brought out a lot of angst during the build. Maybe I shouldn't have been building the Monogram B-36 at the same time! I love how the model looks in finished form but for many reasons it personally was a hard road to get it to be what I envisioned it would be when I started. I did get there, as you have, but what a passage. I guess some models are just like that.

WOW!!! I missed this one when you posted it yesterday Paul. I really want to build one of these up after watching you take it on. Some really good work on that paint and weathering man.
