Made some more progress on the wings and engine nacelles. Had to do some truing up of the wing root area to get the fit and to get the alignment correct I needed to glue the wings from the wing root out. Apparently sitting on the shelf since the 90's flattened out the wings to set the "twist" and the "bend" back. Probably need to do the same on my other 5 B25 kits.

I had some older kits in my stash that I used to have in the garage around 15 years ago and all of them got distorted/ warped over the years of being out there. Even with them now in my closet inside the house I still get that every once in a while if I've had a kit for a while. Making some good progress on this one Paul.

Those are some great OOB engines Paul and you've painted them up and weathered them nicely. When these Accurate Miniature kits first came out they were the cutting edge in terms of details. Hated to see 'em go.

Hated to see 'em go. Some one has reissued them I heard as I recall. Academy? I have all their kits including all the Vettes and the 3 Can-Am cars.Only missing the Gulfhawk, the Yak on skies and the F51 Reno Air racer.

Been fitting the glass for the past couple hours. I have a small gap to fix the the nose glass to where it meets the fuselage. Than masking the glass and a Yellow Zinc Chromate primer coat Hosted on Fotki

Lookin' terrific so far Paul. Hey.....at least you're trying a figure out (which looks great btw), I haven't made it that far in my modeling yet. You don't do figures........I am truly shocked Joe!! Even I dabble with them!!

Hopefully a little pasticard will resolve the fit issue. Close to primer and paint now!
